Terms and Conditions for SPARK-Accredited Preschools

The terms and conditions specify the requirements for adherence by preschools to remain SPARK-Accredited. These terms and conditions serve as an agreement that outlines the responsibilities and expectations of all SPARK-Accredited preschools. Non-compliance would necessitate a review of the preschool's accreditation status and could lead to its withdrawal. This ensures that SPARK-Accredited preschools continue to uphold quality standards to provide quality education and care for the children.

All accredited preschools must fulfil a set of terms and conditions. They are listed as follows:

(i) Continue to meet the eligibility criteria for licence tenure of 24 months and curriculum review.
(ii) Submit a quality improvement plan within 6 months of receiving the SPARK validation report from ECDA.
(iii) Submit the annual self-appraisal report according to the format and timeline, stipulated by ECDA.

Preschool's SPARK accreditation is not transferrable. It may be required to re-apply for validation in the event of a change in ownership / licensee, service model, relocation, rebranding, merger or equivalent.
